I would say JT's is one of the best cafe/restaurants in the area. It is always consistent, has a really great and interesting menu, and the service is always nice.
They have a wonderful brunch on Sunday including some amazing coffee based cocktails. They also generally have a ton of different beers and cocktails, and a nice bar area that often has some live music.
The food was interesting. Chicken and waffles, crab cake Benny and croissant French toast was good. Corn beef hash was missing seasoning, the eggs were mediocre. Lipton tea bag not acceptable. The service the service the service . None whatsoever. We sat they took the order and the waiter never showed back up. Unacceptable. Felt alone in there.
Had breakfast at JT' s today. It was GREAT. I really enjoyed it. Both the food and the service. Staff is so accommodating.
It's easy to drive by this place and not think anything of it, but it's worth the visit. We moved out of the area, but this restaurant was really one of the only ones that we considered a solid staple that we could go to over and over and not get bored with and not be disappointed.
Love this place. Excellent breakfast and lunch. Bloody Mary is a meal in itself! Come here often.
I've eaten there a few times and it's always been a pleasure. The staff is exceptionally friendly and well informed on menu items. The food is fresh and delicious. A warm, friendly neighborhood spot.
